Hi, I’m Louise, a calligrapher and owner of Loughman’s Lettering. I can guide you on the style, colour, material and size of your signage & stationery that would best fit the space and vibe of your wedding venue. I am always looking for new styles and ideas and therefore keeping your wedding current and on trend.
What Signage & Stationery do I need?
For your wedding day, I would recommend a welcome sign, order of the day, table plan, placecards & table numbers/names as the basics. Look at your budget and if you have more to play with you can always add menus, cards & gifts signs, memorial or ceremony signs. Your options are infinite really! How do I choose a style?
Consider the décor of your venue, is it rustic? Glamorous? Simple? Use this as a basis and try and find pictures of previous weddings at your venue for inspiration. Then perhaps ponder the type of materials you would want to incorporate? Would log placecards suit your venue? Or perhaps a mirror order of the day?
Next think colours! Do you want to keep it simple with black and white, or add a subtle colour with pink calligraphy ink or maybe a painted board to match the bridesmaid dresses?
